Anderson has been innovating hardwood flooring since 1946. Despite setting multiple industry standards, every plank is still hand-crafted for an unbeatable, individual look. With Anderson, handcrafted hardwood meets modern technology for an ideal blend of authenticity and functionality.

True Hand-CraftsmanshipAnderson-in-Dallas

Anderson believes that nothing can replace a craftman’s eye. Anderson’s rustic hand scraping, wire brushing, pebbling and other texturizing is all performed by skilled craftsman that know how to bring out the beauty of each plank. No two boards are the same. No matter what color or species you choose, you will have a truly custom floor.

In their workmanship, Anderson saw the opportunity to make a difference. Most of their hand-finishing is now completed through the Anderson’s highly successful Prison Work Program. The voluntary work program rehabilitates prisoners in South Carolina and Tenneesee, teaching them a trade, showing them the value of hard work and paying them a wage that helps support the their victims and their families.

Continuing Innovation

Ongoing innovation is a hallmark of Anderson’s commitment to quality. In 1997, Anderson introduced the high wear, aluminum oxide floor finish that practically every manufacturer offers today. Their latest finish, Lusterlock Ultra, is up to six times more resistant to scratches and scuffs than the leading competitor. Anderson stands behind Lusterlock so resolutely that they offer 30 and 50 year warranties for ultimate security.

Engineered hardwood is an Anderson staple. In fact, founder L.W. Anderson invented the cross-lock engineering technique that’s still an industry standard. Today, Anderson offers EnCore, a special core board material with no air pockets for maximum density. It has the toughness, stability and warp-resistance a hardworking family needs for lasting beauty.

From solid wood to durable engineered, you’ll find a full selection of Anderson products at Peek’s Floor Co.
